Karin Kovacic

Karin serves as a Managing Director of Libertas’ Institutional Sales team and is responsible for originating and sourcing new business opportunities.

Prior to joining Libertas, Karin was with Monroe Capital and Alcentra Capital Corporation, where she was part of the origination team responsible for sourcing cash flow-based deals, both sponsor and non-sponsor backed. Additionally, she played a pivotal role in the growth and business development of CBIZ MHM LLC in the New York Metropolitan area. Early in her career, Karin served as a Vice President at Fifth Street Capital, where she sourced mezzanine and equity business in the Northeast region while overseeing marketing and business development strategies.

Karin has won several awards throughout her career including most recently ‘The Most Influential Women in Mid-Market M&A’, Women in Commercial Finance and the ACG Meritorious Service Award. Karin is actively involved in various networking and educational associations. Karin also held positions on the Global board and executive committee of the Association of Corporate Growth. Currently she is honored to serve as the President of the Connecticut Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).

Karin earned a B.A. degree from Purchase College.
